A mental health assessment is an overall evaluation provided by a qualified mental health professional. This service is used to identify specific concerns, as well as biological, psychological, and social factors that may be contributing to a person’s problem areas. The structure of this session is designed so that the therapist gets a full overview of a person’s life, current functioning, as well as an exploration of what treatment options may be best.
